Frequently asked questions
How do I move my journal to a new phone?
Your journal lives only on your phone. Before changing phone, open Settings and export an encrypted backup, then save it somewhere safe (for example your cloud drive or computer). On the new phone, install Feelow and use the restore option in Settings with that backup file.
I bought a voice plan. How do I get it on another device?
Sign in with the same Apple ID (or Google account on Android), open Feelow, go to Settings and tap “Restore purchases”.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by the store. On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Feelow. On Android: Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions. You keep your plan until the end of the paid month.
What does a voice plan include?
No ads, unlimited dictation using your phone’s own speech recognition, and a monthly allowance of multilingual cloud dictation (15 to 75 minutes depending on the plan). Minutes reset at each renewal.
Cloud dictation says my minutes are used up.
Your plan’s cloud minutes for this month are finished. You can keep using on-device dictation, wait for your next renewal, or choose a larger plan in Settings.
I forgot how to unlock Feelow.
The lock uses your device’s Face ID, fingerprint or the PIN you chose. Because your journal never leaves your phone, we cannot unlock it or reset it remotely. Keeping a recent encrypted backup protects you against this situation.
Where do ads appear, and how do I report one?
In the free version, a banner can appear in Explore, and an occasional full-screen ad after you finish an action. Ads never appear while you write, dictate or record. To report an inappropriate ad, use “Report this ad” in the app or email us with a screenshot.
How do I delete my data?
Delete entries in the app, or uninstall Feelow to remove all its local data. Backups you exported must be deleted from wherever you saved them. We do not hold a copy of your journal.
Is Feelow available on Android?
Feelow for Android is coming soon on Google Play.
